A SIMPLE, LASTING RECORD
From an object to an archive.
Start with what you know. Preserve the evidence. Let the record grow as the object’s life continues.
1. Document
Create an account, photograph your object, and add its identifying details. Use unknown or approximate dates when certainty is not supported. Drafts are private and saved as you go.
2. Preserve
Write or record the story and upload supporting evidence. Choose which fields become public. Original files remain private; safe delivery versions can be shared.
3. Attribute
Each claim identifies an account, role, source, and date. A named issuer can create a certificate with a precise scope. Stronger issuer roles require review.
4. Carry it forward
Invite the next owner to review and accept. Document temporary custody separately. Historical dates and registry timestamps remain distinct.
5. Keep the story growing
Follow the QR code to the permanent record. Add photographs, documents and later provenance as you learn more. Each saved update preserves a new version; the Registry ID and QR code stay the same. Timestamp processing runs in the background.
